Shameless plug alert! A staged reading of my new comedy, “Princess Anonymous,” will be held at The Chance Theater during their 24hr Chance-a-thon fundraiser on Saturday morning, May 26, at 2:00 AM. That’s right…2:00 in the morning…after midnight and before breakfast.
What’s it about? Well, I’ll tell you!
What happens after happily ever after? Some of the world’s favorite fairy tale heroines have gathered together for a meeting of PA (Princess Anonymous), an organization designed to help disillusioned princesses deal with the transition from their often traumatic lives into healthy royal marriages. The Little Mermaid confesses to missing her fins, Briar Rose suffers from narcolepsy, Rapunzel is exhibiting signs of agoraphobia and Stockholm Syndrome, Snow White doesn’t know how to go from living with seven little men to one big one, Beauty is crippled with insecurity since her Beast became a handsome prince, and Cinderella is dealing with a relapse in her obsessive-compulsive disorder now that she has nothing to do around the castle. Peek into the not-so-perfect (and sometimes shocking) private lives of the princesses you thought you knew.
Tickets are $10 and you can buy them here: https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/pe/9579035. All proceeds go toward supporting one of the best storefront theaters in OC!
I’d love to have a nice, full audience for this insane time slot, but if you can’t make it to the reading, please donate at http://www.razoo.com/story/May-26-2am-Princess-Anonymous
